Chris is a partner with Britton Konynenburg, a diversified farming and real estate company. The partnership has been farming in the central valley for multiple generations and currently produces apples, cherries, peaches and almonds. In addition to production agriculture, Chris has been active in industry relations for many years serving as the president of the US Apple Association, California Apple Commission and Cherry Advisory Board. He also served as chairman of Community Trust Credit Union.
Chris is passionate about working with people in Stanislaus County who have been traditionally underserved and finding creative, new ways to provide a “hand up”.
Chris and his wife, Michele, have been married for 26 years and have three children, Katelin (21), Christian (19) and Andrew (17).
