Janet Nunez-Pineda
Manager, Stanislaus County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services
Dr. Janet Nunez-Pineda is a Central Valley native. She is a life-long resident of Riverbank, Ca. and is proud to serve in her community. Dr. Nunez-Pineda is currently the Manager for Stanislaus County Behavioral Health & Recovery Services-Prevention & Early Intervention division. Through this role she is able to partner with numerous community based agencies and support local efforts related to the California Mental Health Services Act of 2004.
Dr. Nunez-Pineda received her Doctorate degree in Education, majoring in Educational Leadership (Ed.D) from California State University Stanislaus. Additionally, she obtained her Master’s degree in Educational Counseling and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology and a minor in Spanish.
Dr. Nunez-Pineda has served in various professional leadership roles within Stanislaus County. The majority of her career has had a strong focus on efforts that support underserved communities both locally and throughout the state; her work includes experience in the public-non-profit setting, public education and most recently the public mental health department.
