Sandy joined Wells Fargo in 2005 and is the Community Affairs Officer for the Wells Fargo Foundation in the Northern and Central California Region. In this role, Sandy is responsible for providing strategic leadership, support and execution of the bank’s charitable giving plan.

In the community, Sandy has volunteered and served on various nonprofit boards including: Southeast Asia Resource Action Center, Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission, Fresno Housing and Community Development Commission and she helped co-found the Asian Business Institute and Resource Center. Sandy currently volunteers on the board of directors of Leadership California.

Sandy is bilingual and fluent in Hmong. She holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Craig School of Business at California State University, Fresno.

I hope to bring a corporate social responsibility perspective to community leadership, to be a voice for economic development, to link and align with other leaders seeking positive impact and working towards a common agenda. I care most about job creation, workforce development, and support for small business. I helped co-found the Asian Business Institute and Resource Center, and am on the board of directors of Leadership California. I am fluent in Hmong and was born and raised in Fresno. My whole family resides here.”
