Resources are scarce and people disagree about how they should be allocated. A program like this one, which seeks to mitigate this issue through cross- disciplinary dialogue, is a great step in the right direction. The issues I’m most involved in are education, green space and garden advocacy, crime prevention, and small business advocacy. In my experience, positive community change happens in two ways. The first is consensus building over time. The second is rapid change through decisive leadership of elected officials, usually in response to a sudden change of circumstances. I am a small business owner and entrepreneur with a strong track record of volunteerism and leadership in the community. I welcome the opportunity to expand my ability to bring positive change to Fresno.”
